New in Alternative Hip Hop "Sad Vibes"

Sad Vibe music has gained a lot of popularity in 2019. The birth of this new genre was made possible through playlists on major streaming platforms like Spotify and SoundCloud.


A few artists in particular helped push Sad Vibe music into the mainstream including—Juice Wrld, Trippie Redd and Lil Peep. This genre of music helps us deeply connect to the artist, which makes us feel better especially when we’re feeling down or depressed.



Four new underground artists are about to shoot the Sad Vibe scene to new heights. These artists are Almighty B, Mr. WrightMusic, Rated K and Livid.



Almighty B

Almighty B is a versatile artist from Atlanta, Georgia who makes music people can vibe, cry and even rage to.

MrWrightMusic

Michael Wright, known as MrWrightMusic, is a U.S. based hip hop artist from Hamilton. His new track, “Be There”, will hit your feels with an intense guitar intro, on-point vocals and a strong beat that ties it all together.

Rated_K

Rated_K is a hip hop artist from Mississippi who takes a lot of inspiration from J. Cole.


His new single, “Lost” will be stuck in your head all day. Rated_K has dope flow over a simple and raw beat along with relaxing piano—all good vibes.





Livid

Australian rapper, Livid, grinds 24/7 to create and produce unique music.


Skipping Stones” is his latest single—a chill track with obscure sound effects that are mixed by Livid himself.


Livid’s vocals stand out and will have you vibing with the song in no time.
